I first tasted this recipe in China when cooked by a good friend from Indonesia. It was the best thing I had there and I hope I can remember the recipe accurately. It is perfect for company!
1 Chicken breast per person, cut into chunks or thin strips
Marinate overnight or for a few hours in:
1 cup sweet soy sauce
1/2 onion chopped
1/2 cup regular soy sauce
2 cloves garlic chopped
Grilling: Thread chunks onto bamboo or metal skewers and grill until done.
Stir-frying: take thin strips and stir-fry with a little oil until done. Grilling tastes the best, though.
1 cup best quality creamy peanut butter
Chili paste to taste
1/2 cup of sweet soy sauce
Mix until combined and dip chicken into sauce and enjoy. These measurements may not be exact just experiment and see what tastes the best to you.
